Job Description

About the Role

NovitaTech specialises in the supply, assessment, modification, testing and maintenance of assistive technology (AT). We work with adults, kids, families and carers to select, set-up and access the most appropriate AT to assist with mobility, communication, education and daily living needs. Bring your strong clinical problem-solving skills to this role, based in the Assistive Technology team - ideal for an entry level or senior clinician looking for a new challenge. Use your excellent communication skills to clearly articulate the NDIS funding framework and other funders liaising with stakeholders around the time and resources required to fulfil assistive technology prescriptions. Utilise your previous experience providing a wide range of equipment prescriptions including, but not limited to, items in the areas of:

  • Power wheelchairs
  • Manual wheelchairs
  • Strollers 
  • Custom seating
  • Hoists and slings
  • Beds and sleep systems
  • Showering and toileting aids

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

Along with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration, to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • An innovative, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a range of clinical interventions including MAT evaluations and custom seating and off the shelf solutions (desirable)
  • Experience working in a trans-disciplinary setting
  • A commitment to continuing professional development in the assistive technology space
  • Experience providing clinical support to clients in mobility and daily living 
  • Experience in equipment prescriptions for custom items via a range of funding sources including NDIS (desirable)

Remuneration Package

Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
