About Us
Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 6,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the Role
Novita has recently expanded our Assistive Technology (AT) services with an exciting new purpose-built flagship retail store based in Hindmarsh. The store showcases a wide range of AT products where customers and disability service providers are able to access and trial products aimed at enhancing the lives of people living with a disability.
We are looking for an energetic and passionate retail team member to join our team in this Casual role. While retail or disability experience will be an advantage, we are more interested in hearing from you if you have a genuine passion for helping others in the community. This position will align well with long term goals of Allied Health Students. On the job training will be provided to excel in the role.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Empathetic Customer focus to meeting customer needs
- Flexible with availability to work, including working on Saturday's and late hours Thursday's
Desirable
- Knowledge or experience in retail or disability sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and its application to providers and customers.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS worker screening, DHS Working with Children and Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)

Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
