We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist and a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at our Salisbury location in permanent, full-time roles. These positions involve delivering high-quality, evidence-based, client-centred supports within a multidisciplinary environment, with the Senior Occupational Therapist also providing clinical leadership and supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse clinical caseload, including assessment, planning and delivery of tailored supports
- Collaborating with families, caregivers and other professionals to provide integrated, client-centred therapy
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, client reviews and program planning
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records in line with Novita policies and procedures
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to knowledge-sharing across the organisation
In addition, as a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will also:
- Manage a more complex caseload, delivering advanced evidence-based assessments and intervention programs
- Provide clinical leadership through supervision and mentoring of early career Occupational Therapists
- Lead by example in the delivery of high-quality, client-centred therapeutic supports
- Contribute to service innovation, including the development of community-based programs and enhancement of service delivery
- Actively participate in service planning, multidisciplinary decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with other senior clinicians, team leaders and clinical leads to support a positive team culture and improve service delivery
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Ability to apply, adapt and evaluate a range of occupational therapy interventions
- Skilled in tailoring assessments and interventions to meet individual client needs
- Knowledge of strengths-based and client-centred best practice approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective report writing
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and digital clinical record systems
For Senior Occupational Therapist roles, demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and supervision is required.
Education and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current SA Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Driver’s Licence
