Expression of Interest – How it works

This is a rolling Expression of Interest and will remain open for approximately six months. Suitable applicants may be contacted as opportunities arise that align with their experience, availability, preferred location and client requirements.

Our current priority vacancies include Gawler, Salisbury, Clearview, Murray Bridge, West Croydon, Hindmarsh, Christies Beach and Morphett Vale (subject to change)

About Community Programs

As a Support Worker in Community Programs, you’ll support people with disability to build skills, confidence and meaningful community connections.

  • Work across adult community programs, youth programs, recreation activities, Step Up and Transition to Work
  • Support group‑based activities focused on participation, wellbeing and independence
  • Help participants achieve social, life skill and employment‑related goals in the community

About Community Living (SIL)

As a Support Worker in Community Living, you’ll support adults with disability to live safely and independently in their homes.

  • Provide support in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and shared accommodation settings
  • Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, skill development and community access
  • Work a range of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, active and passive overnights

Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking compassionate Support Workers who are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support.

  • Experience supporting people with disability, including those with complex needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of person‑centred support, dignity and independence
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with basic digital literacy

Education & Requirements

To be considered for this Expression of Interest, you’ll need (or be willing to obtain):

  • Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support
    (or willingness to work towards it for regional roles)
  • Current Australian driver’s licence (minimum P2)
  • Current Senior First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training relevant to your role

We’re serious about safeguarding. If you don’t currently hold the required checks, we’ll provide guidance on how to obtain them prior to commencing work.
