Job Description
About the Role
This 12-month fixed term position, based in Modbury North, offers the opportunity to lead complex clinical work while supporting Novita clients to achieve meaningful outcomes. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team, mentor developing clinicians and deliver innovative, evidence-based therapy that makes a real impact. This role suits an experienced, motivated clinician who thrives on autonomy, collaboration, and driving best practice. The official title of this role is Physiotherapist.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a complex caseload with high quality assessment, intervention and evaluation
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy programs tailored to client goals
Integrate assistive technology and transdisciplinary practices into therapy planning
Mentor and supervise other clinicians, students and allied health assistants
Contribute to service excellence through teamwork, clinical leadership and quality practice
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge, skills and experience
Strong clinical reasoning with confidence managing a varied or complex caseload
Ready to step up into a mentoring role, with a passion for supporting junior clinicians
Experience delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions across diverse needs
Willingness to build capability in supervision, coaching and team collaboration
Understanding of multidisciplinary and community-based service delivery
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
Organised, adaptable and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning
Comfortable using clinical systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications
Education and Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
SA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
