Knowledge, skills and experience
- Experience as an Allied Health Assistant, Therapy Assistant or relevant lived experience
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients, families and therapists
- Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage workflow
- Practical, flexible and able to support multiple programs and activities
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic digital/therapy technologies
- Experience with AAC, specialised equipment or supporting neurodivergent clients (highly regarded)
- Understanding of disability types, family-centred practice and inclusive support (highly regarded)
Education and Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (desirable)
- Qualifications in Community Services, Disability or Health Sciences (desirable)
- Currently studying an Allied Health degree (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check (required)
