Job Description

About the Role

In this leadership position, you’ll play a key part in coordinating a high‑quality Day Options program, Individualised Support and Respite that genuinely support people to thrive.

  • Lead, coordinate and deliver high quality Community Programs and client support
  • Contribute to program development by identifying opportunities for innovation, improvement and growth including diversifying service delivery options
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, carers and service partners
  • Develop person‑centred support plans and ensure goals are regularly reviewed
  • Mentor, support and line manager a team of support workers, ensuring they are skilled and confident in their roles
  • Manage rosters, shift coverage and timesheet approvals to maintain service continuity
  • Oversee program quality, safety and compliance, including incident management
  • Maintain accurate documentation, case notes and client records

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience supporting clients in community or disability programs
  • Strong communication, customer service and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to lead, coach and support staff in a dynamic, people‑focused environment.
  • High level of organisation, initiative and confidence managing competing priorities
  • Sound understanding of the NDIS, person‑centred practice and strengths‑based approaches
  • Competent computer literacy and documentation skills

Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum Certificate III in Community Services, Disability or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certifications.
  • Current driver’s licence, NDIS Worker Check and Working With Children Check.
  • Ability to maintain all mandatory training requirements.
