About the Role
This role is based in our Port Pirie Day Options Hub, which is a vibrant, busy environment supporting up to 30 clients a day. You’ll work both on the floor and within the leadership team, helping clients achieve their goals through tailored support.
- Deliver one-on-one support in Hub, home and community settings
- Assist with personal care, health needs, and daily living tasks
- Mentor and coach support staff to improve service quality
- Contribute to planning and documentation of individualised programs and staff rostering
Knowledge, skills and experience
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong understanding of individualised support and person-centred practice
- Ability to mentor and coach staff to improve service delivery
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Confident using client management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Experience working independently and managing competing priorities
Education and Qualifications
Along with the experience in supporting client centred services, you will have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Indiviual Support or Community Services (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR), and training in; Assist with Medication, Epilepsy & Midazolam, Through their Eyes, and Manual Handling
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
We’re serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don’t have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we’ll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
