Job Description

About the Role

We have multiple opportunities (1.0 and 0.8 FTE) based our Hindmarsh office where you’ll ensure smooth operations by managing rosters and supporting staff effectively. You’ll be responsible to:

  • Develop and maintain rosters that align with participant support needs, funding, and service agreements.
  • Proactively fill roster gaps, including unplanned leave, sick leave and emergency coverage.
  • Liaise with managers and payroll to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Communicate shift changes and rostering rules to support workers
  • Ensure rosters comply with awards, enterprise agreements, and organisational guidelines.
  • Monitor rosters for accuracy and plan ahead to minimise agency use

Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge, skills, experience and education

You’ll bring a blend of technical know-how and practical experience to excel in this role:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using rostering software and managing scheduling processes
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, even under pressure
  • Ability to interpret procedures and apply rostering rules accurately
  • Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or related field (desirable)
  • Equivalent experience in rostering or workforce coordination will be highly regarded
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check will be required, in addition to ongoing compliance with other mandatory clearances and training
