About You
We welcome applicants with previous warehouse experience and familiarity with computerised stock systems. However, we’re also open to providing on-the-job training if you can demonstrate:

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

  • Teamwork, initiative, and task prioritisation

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Logistics Officer to join our Croydon Park distribution team in a permanent full-time role, supporting Novita’s logistics operations through safe storage, delivery, stock management, and client order processing.

  • Ensure smooth logistics operations including storage, delivery, and stock movement
  • Process client orders accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate equipment distribution, warehousing and cleaning
  • Collaborate with Novita clients and internal teams
  • Support the rental team with relevant logistics tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and checking of incoming deliveries 
  • Safely prepare, pack, and dispatch stock manually and via forklift/order picker 
  • Inspect disability equipment before delivery and after collection, reporting any maintenance needs 
  • Liaise with clinicians, Allied Health Assistants, and clients to coordinate equipment distribution 
  • Contribute to the development of work instructions and procedures 
  • Adhere to Novita’s work health and safety systems and report any unsafe conditions or practices 

Novita are involved in a pilot program regarding refurbishment of second-hand equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to carry out the logistic functions of this pilot.  

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Valid forklift and order-picking license
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to use your own vehicle for travel if required
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening and DHS Working with Children Check, (or willingness to obtain)
