About You
You’re passionate about supporting people with disability and leading a small team
Experienced in operational leadership or ready to step into a leadership role
Skilled at building collaboration and motivating transdisciplinary therapists
Strong communicator with a focus on person-centred outcomes
Flexible, proactive and committed to driving service quality and innovation
About the Role
This 12-month contract offers the chance to continue your operational leadership journey or step confidently into it. You’ll lead a small, supportive team of transdisciplinary therapists across the Upper Eyre, Far North region, with opportunities to expand services, explore new models of delivery, and grow the team. The role includes supporting outreach work if desired and guiding the team in supervising university students on placement, all while shaping innovative service approaches in a regional setting. In this role you’ll:
Contribute to development and implementation of localised person-centred service programs
Ensure person-centred approaches are applied when identifying goals for people with disabilities
Manage a clinical caseload, including assessment, planning and evidence-based interventions
Prioritise activity and allocate resources to efficiently deliver services within agreed parameters
Support team development through coaching, communication and fostering a positive culture
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge, skills and experience
Knowledge of NDIS and person-centred approaches in the disability sector
Strong operational leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to balance service delivery with team development and quality improvement
Willingness to learn and grow into leadership responsibilities in a supportive environment
Education and Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline (e.g., OT, Physio, Speech Pathology, Social Work)
Eligible for registration with AHPRA or other relevant professional body
Tertiary qualifications in leadership and management (desirable)
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel if required
Ongoing compliance with mandatory clearances (NDIS and WWCC) and certifications
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
