About You
You’re a qualified (or soon-to-be qualified) Orthotist & Prosthetist with a passion for client-centred care, whether you’re just starting your career or bringing years of experience. You have strong clinical reasoning, a collaborative mindset, and a flexible, evidence-based approach. You may have a background in orthotics, prosthetics, or both, and if you have prosthetics experience, we’d love to hear from you as we grow this area of our service.
About the Role
This is a 12-month contract role commencing January 2026, based at Novita’s Croydon Park location. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality orthotic and prosthetic services, with a unique opportunity to help shape and grow our expanding prosthetics service.
Manage assessments, design, and fitting of orthotic and prosthetic devices
Provide outreach services across SA and western NSW
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to support client outcomes
Contribute to service planning, innovation, and quality improvement
Liaise with families and professionals to deliver client-centred care

To succeed in this role, you may be an experienced clinician or a recent graduate, either way, you’ll bring a client-focused mindset, a commitment to learning, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Demonstrated ability to assess, design, and deliver customised orthotic and prosthetic solutions
Strong clinical reasoning and reflective practice skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
Proficient in digital documentation, Microsoft Office, and CAD applications
Understanding of community-based and transdisciplinary service delivery
Experience working with clients with complex needs (paediatric experience desirable)
Education and Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications eligible for membership with the Australian Orthotics and Prosthetics Association
Current registration with the Australian Orthotics and Prosthetics Association
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (desirable)
Current First Aid certificate
Child Safe Environments training certificate
Current SA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
