About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Physiotherapist to join our allied health team at our Whyalla location, and become an integral part of Novita’s vision.

The Physiotherapist is responsible for:

  • Managing clinical caseload involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the appropriate treatment/management program
  • Selecting, applying and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and their ability to meet goals and objectives in line with organisational practice standards
  • Encouraging client participation in program evaluation to ensure that services are relevant to the individual’s needs and goals
  • Contributing to the development and provision of community-based programmes and activities for clients
  • Integrating physiotherapy services with other Novita services to support a multi-disciplinary approach and liaising with and engaging in decision making, client reviews, planning sessions, program conferences and other appropriate meetings
  • Providing orientation and performance feedback to physiotherapists under their supervision
  • Assisting in the delivery of training and education programmes to a range of employees within the organisation and other relevant external organisation
  • Supporting Novita’s commitments to tertiary student education and, where appropriate, be directly involved in student supervision

Desired Skills and Experience

Along with AHPRA registration, as a Physiotherapist, to be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a range of physiotherapy interventions, including the ability to adapt established physiotherapy assessments and interventions to meet client needs
  • Knowledge of inclusive practices, and child and family-centered practices
  • Experience in working with clients with high and complex needs and the ability to support other clinicians in developing these skills
  • Experience in supervision, management and development of other health professionals in the clinical setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and support customers, children, parents and staff
  • Ability to generalise therapy goals within multiple natural environments
  • Drive, passion and commitment to your work and Novita's purpose
  • A commitment to continuing professional development

Remuneration Package and Benefits

Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
