About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Leader to join our allied health team and become an integral part of Novita Services’ vision. Working at Novita you will be contributing to the planning and provision of client and family-centered services. You will support a therapy team to support our clients across their lifespan in key areas, helping them to achieve their developmental milestones. This role also allows flexibility for the candidate to maintain a clinical caseload if preferable.
Novita is seeking a Team Leader for the duration of 12-month contract (maternity leave coverage), based at our Elizabeth Therapy Office.
Job Description
Team Leader will undertake the following activities:
Leading and supervising a team to deliver quality, person-centred outcomes to support clients, families, carers and communities living with disability.
Motivating and supporting this passionate and dedicated team in the client-focused work that they do every day
Driving the success of the team with a focus on efficiency, target achievement and excellence in person-centred service delivery
Working collaboratively with the leadership team to plan and develop high quality, evidence-based services, including service development opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Selection Criteria
Experience/emerging skills in leading and managing a service focused team to help customers achieve their goals
Tertiary qualification in Allied Health or related discipline.
A passion for supporting your staff to deliver service targets through regular coaching and operational support
Ability to proactively identify, report and manage emerging risks and service gaps, whilst ensuring support is available to families
Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, and other documentation as required.
Essential Requirements
Hold a Tertiary qualification in allied health and/or a relevant business qualification
Valid driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle for travel
NDIS worker screening, DHS Working with Children and Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in leadership and management
Experience operating in the National Disability Insurance Scheme or similar schemes

Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
