Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 6,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a part-time Reception/ Administration Assistant, based at our Modbury North therapy hub. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and support a range of site administration activities to contribute to the seamless operation of the site. Novita continues to be seen as an innovator and leader in the areas of disability services, while advocating for our staff, clients and the disability community.
As our Reception / Administration Assistant your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers, staff and visitors to our sites in a warm, professional manner
- Providing efficient and accurate administration support, including formatting clinical reports, care plans and correspondence
- Coordinating site-based administration duties including scheduling and cancelling client bookings and associated resources such as rooms and equipment
- Contributing to the development of a culture of effective communication and interpersonal relationships, problem solving and continuous improvement.
This is a part-time position, initially offered as a 12 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of an extension depending on service requirements. The hours will be Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 5:00pm (25 hours total per week).
About you

- Demonstrated excellence in administration, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, in particular telephone manner along with clear and concise written communication
- Outstanding personal presentation
- Preparedness to work collaboratively with internal and external staff, customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to problem solve, and to manage customers and situations in a friendly, mature and empathetic manner.
- Strong PC literacy skills (MS Office suite and client management systems).
- Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision and effectively manage and prioritise tasks.

Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
