Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 4,300 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the Role
As a member of the Novita team, you will have the chance to deliver vital therapy services for kids, young people and adults, as well as their families and carers, while working within a multi-disciplinary team. As an innovative, self-motivated Speech Pathologist you will have access to:

The Speech pathologist will undertake following activities:
- Manage a clinical case load involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the appropriate Intervention program
- Integrate speech pathology services with other Novita Services to support a multi-disciplinary approach and liaising with and engaging in decision making, client reviews, planning sessions, program conferences and other appropriate meetings.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and client records in line with Novita requirements and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems
- Work and liaise with carers and families, service providers and community members to enhance the quality of life and choice for children and young people.
- Encourage client and family participation in program evaluation to ensure that services are relevant to the individual family’s needs and priorities.
Key Selection Criteria
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, and other documentation as required
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, young people, parents and staff
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service skills
- Integrity - honest in own behavior and in dealings with others
- Energetic, resourceful, innovative and flexible in responding to challenges
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- An understanding of person-centered thinking, principles of NDIS and the National Disability Services Standards

Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
