Job Description
About the Role
We are recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Modbury North team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This position involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based, client-centred supports within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage a complex caseload, delivering advanced evidence-based assessments and intervention programs
Provide clinical leadership through supervision and mentoring of early career Occupational Therapists
Lead by example in the delivery of high-quality, client-centred therapeutic supports
Contribute to service innovation, including the development of community-based programs and enhancement of service delivery
Actively participate in service planning, multidisciplinary decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with other senior clinicians, team leaders and clinical leads to support a positive team culture and improve service delivery
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge, skills and experience
Ability to apply, adapt and evaluate a range of occupational therapy interventions
Skilled in tailoring assessments and interventions to meet individual client needs
Knowledge of strengths-based and client-centred best practice approaches
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective report writing
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and digital clinical record systems
Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and supervision
Education and Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Current SA Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Driver’s Licence
