Knowledge, skills and experience
- Knowledge and understanding of early childhood development and the learning through play model
- Experience and knowledge in ensuring culturally safe programs for diverse communities
- Experience in working in an early childhood (0-8 years) service or system and strong foundations in early childhood development and/or early intervention programs for children and their families
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with families and relevant stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including working with families from a CALD background
Education and Qualifications
- Minimum Cert III in early childhood development, community services or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children’s Check
- A current driver’s licence (P2 minimum required)
We’re serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don’t have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we’ll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
